Summary

 

Energean is seeking to employ an Human Resource Officer for our head offices in Athens. The role will be involved with the daily functions of the HR department including hiring staff, support training initiatives for employees, administering payroll related activities, benefits, and leave, and implementing company policies and practices. The role will support and maintain the organization’s HR Information Systems (Epsilonnet Software and SAP SuccessFactors).

 

Key Accountabilities:  

  • Monitors the employee time attendance daily, collects & files the necessary documentation (absences, illnesses, parental leave, etc.)
  • Manages all "ERGANI" platform processes, including but not limited to leaves and absences, new hires, and departures.
  • Oversees and maintains optimal function of the HRIS, which may include customization, development, maintenance, and upgrade to applications, systems, and modules.
  • Administers and executes human resource activities including but not limited to compensation, benefits, performance management and training and development.
  • Maintains employee records, ensuring completion and accuracy of details such as employee contact information, job classification, pay rates, organizational structure, and other key details.
  • Drafts contracts, certificates, and letters relating to personnel matters.
  • Participates in the development and supports the implementation of human resource policies.
  • Provides support to employees in various HR-related requests and resolves any issues that may arise.
  • Performs periodic audits of HR files and records to ensure that all required documents are collected and filed appropriately.
  • Completes records, reporting, and other documentation as required.
  • Maintains knowledge of trends, best practices, and new technologies in human resources, and employment law.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.

 

Qualifications and Experience: 

  • Master’s degree in human resources, Business Administration, or related field required.
  • 2-3 years of proven experience as an HR Assistant or relevant human resources/administrative position
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite (outlook, excel, word).
  • Excellent knowledge of English language (written/spoken)
  • Familiar with HR information Systems

  • Self-motivated and open to new challenges.
  • Ability to act with integrity, professionalism, and confidentiality.
  • Knowledge of Greek employment-related laws and regulations.
