Summary
Energean is seeking to employ an SAP Technical Specialist / ABAP Developer, who will own the full lifecycle of custom development and integration work—from requirements gathering through deployment and support—across Energean’s internal SAP environment. The role will collaborate with functional analysts, external vendors and key stakeholders to translate business needs into robust technical solutions. The role will also participate in key innovation projects on SAP BTP and get exposed into managing technical activities for our S/4HANA solution in collaboration with SAP RISE team.
Key Accountabilities
- Custom Development: Design, code, test, and deploy Reports, Interfaces, Conversions, Enhancements, Forms, and Workflows (RICEFW) using procedural and OO-ABAP.
- Standards & Architecture: Enforce RICEFW architecture, coding standards, and performance best practices.
- Security & Authorization: Define, build, and manage SAP roles and authorizations to ensure data integrity and compliance.
- Integration: Develop and maintain interfaces using SAP CPI to connect SAP with our internal and external systems.
- SAP BTP: Participate in developing automation scenarios concerning ERP and peripheral solutions utilizing AI models.
- Collaboration: Work closely with internal functional teams (e.g., Finance, Procurement, Supply Chain) to understand requirements and deliver solutions.
- Support & Maintenance: Troubleshoot production issues, apply patches and transports, and continuously improve system stability.
- Documentation & Training: Create clear technical specifications, user guides, and provide knowledge transfer to support teams.
Qualifications and Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or related field.
- Minimum 2-3 years of professional experience in SAP ABAP development.
- Basic understanding of SAP systems and modules.
- Certification in SAP ABAP is advantageous.
- Proficiency in English is essential. Willingness to travel globally.

- Knowledge of SAP modules and business processes is advantageous.
- SAP BTP Exposure: Experience with SAP Business Technology Platform (CAP, Fiori/UI5, or other cloud-native services).
- Familiarity with JavaScript (JS) is a plus.
- Experience with SAP Cloud Platform Integration (CPI) is a plus.
- Cross-Module Experience: Prior work with SAP modules such as FI, SD, MM, PM.
