Summary:
Energean Gas Controller serves as the primary point of contact between the gas supply customers / pipeline transportation company and the Company’s production department, ensuring nomination are met and any shortfalls are managed efficiently and effectively. A position with significant liaison with senior management both within the Company and externally and responsible for the maintenance of Energean’s reputation with customers.
Key Accountabilities:
• Daily management of gas nominations to customers.
o Receipt of customer gas requests and allocation of available gas per contracts and attempting to maximize sales
o Sending out pdf allocation and uploading sales data to relevant systems
o Dealing with and processing changes in customer gas requests often under time constraints.
o Responsible for the daily interaction with INGL
• Supports and coordinates all relevant reports and data in a flawless manner bearing in mind the confidentiality and legal aspects involved.
• Management day to day sales:
o Point of Contact of all our customer’s control room
o Receipt and verification of final sales figures and other data from operations and customer
o Saving details in tracking program and sending relevant reports to other departments within Energean
• Receipt, checking and verification of production facility reports
• Coordination of fluid Sales in Emergency situations:
o Working simultaneously with multiple parties involved while accurately tracking quantities in real time
o Maintaining strict procedures as per Energean standards
o Maintaining open communication with Energean management team
• Operations under emergency incidents:
o Following Energean policies and procedures of operations under emergency conditions
o Maintain constant and open communication with management and Energean’s departments
o Communicate to external parties in efficient manner.
• Understand the operation issues involved and its consequences.
• Understanding flow systems and operation processes from well to customer at a level that ensures job performance and an awareness of any abnormal process conditions.
• Completion of all tasks assigned by the Commercial team and other departments. (Include new system implementation).
• Maintaining and updating of all relevant files and documents.
• Saving and recording of data to correct systems and being alert to any mistakes or discrepancies as well as contacting relevant parties to correct. Ensuring correct data received.
• Updating end of the month data in relevant systems together with Finance and Commercial departments.
• Ensure daily entries of sales data are accurate ensuring an accurate end of month closing.
• Receipt and processing of customer daily and weekly forecasts.
• Uploading production forecasts and entering daily supply in flow management systems.
Qualifications and Experience:
• Bachelor’s degree in relevant discipline (Commercial, Economics or Business Administration) would be an advantage, with practical experience of performing in a similar role.
• Minimum of 2 years’ experience in a similar role within the oil and gas industry.
• Proven experience in managing vendors and projects professionally.
Skills:
• Must possess good written and verbal communication skills
• Strong networking and communication skills externally and internally – ability to cultivate and build strong internal and external relationships with business counterparts.
• Exemplify creative problem-solving abilities
• Requires advanced Excel skills, including complex data analysis, automation (macros/VBA), and data modeling using tools like PivotTables
• Ability to organize, prioritize and make decision
• English speaker
• Flexible with can-do attitude
• Ability to work independently when on shift but be a team player working seamlessly within a team environment.
