Summary:
Energean Israel is seeking to employ a Materials Coordinator. As a key member of the warehouse team, the successful candidate will actively support all warehouse and shore-base operations — including receiving and preparing shipments, conducting regular stock-takes, and ensuring compliance with financial and inventory control requirements. The primary focus of the role is to maintain and optimize the company’s material management systems and manage vendor-provided materials efficiently.
Key Accountabilities:
• Design, implement and maintain robust material control procedures.
• Operate and maintain inventory systems (e.g., SAP, MAXIMO), performing a broad range of transactions: goods receipt, transfer, consumption, creation of material masters, etc.
• Troubleshoot system-related issues and support colleagues with system usage.
• Receive shipments, unload, count and accurately stock physical inventory in the warehouse.
• Ensure orders are processed effectively and materials are delivered on time.
• Prepare and receive shipments as per order requirements.
• Maintain a safe, clean, and organized work environment — including warehouse shelves, storage spaces, and workstations.
• Continuously identify and propose process improvements to optimize efficiency, accuracy, and productivity.
• Collaborate closely with team members, maintaining clear and effective communication.
• Perform regular stock-takes and inventory reconciliations for all warehouse items.
• Exhibit resilience, adaptability and a proactive attitude in a dynamic operational environment.
• Travel offshore as needed to support material management duties and enhance onshore-offshore coordination.
Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply chain management, Business Administration or relevant discipline
• Forklift driver license – advantage
Experience & Skills:
• At least 2 years of previous experience with materials and/or logistics
• Proven experience with SAP and/or MAXIMO (or similar ERP/WMS systems).
• Strong analytical mindset and problem-solving skills — capable of working with complex systems and data, identifying inefficiencies, and implementing corrective actions.
• Good understanding of warehousing and inventory management processes, including stock control, receipt/dispatch, cycle counting and reconciliation.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office suite.
• High level of English and Hebrew (written and spoken).
• Safety-conscious and experienced working in operational environments with high traffic.
• Detail-oriented, organized, and committed to continuous improvement, quality, and operational excellence.
