Summary: 
  An exciting opportunity has opened with Energean for a Junior Accountant to work on general ledger operations, compiling balance sheets, gathering data for monthly reports, double-checking calculations and updating journal entries, assisting with tax computations and accounts both receivable and payable. Key Accountabilities:

 

  • Record entries of accounting journals in SAP ERP 

  • Process invoices, expenses claims and prepare bank reconciliations

  • Review accounting documents to ensure accuracy of information and calculations and direct correcting entries

  • Perform month-end accounting activities (general ledger) and intercompany Reconciliations.

  • Efficient cooperation with all related departments and timely acquisition and process of financial information 

  • Supporting assigned tasks for month and year end close. Reconciliations of accounting records with monthly financial reports 

  • Maintain and review company’s Asset register 

  • Participate in monthly financial reporting package preparation (B/S, P/L, Cash Flow)

  • Assist in auditing activities by providing necessary information and preparing requested documentations

 

 

Qualifications & Experience:
    

  • University degree in Finance or Accounting

  • 1 years of working experience in accounting, preferably in an international company or a BIG4

  • Good knowledge of international accounting standards (IFRS) and its implementation

  • Computer literate with very good knowledge of MS Office, especially EXCEL and ERP programs (knowledge in SAP would be considered a plus)

  • Advanced business writing and verbal communication skills

  • Ability to observe deadlines and performance of high quality services
