Summary:
Energean is seeking to employ an HSE & Compliance Officer for its offshore Israel Operations. The role supports the Israeli HSE department by ensuring complaince with Health, Safety, Environment and regulatory requirements, in line with legislation, company policies and FPSO operational standards. The officer will lead and coordinate HSE programs, risk awareness, behavioral initiatives and complaince activities to protect and improve the health and safety of all personnel on the Energean Power FPSO. This is a national offshore position working on a 14/14 rotational.
Key Accountabilities:
• Plan, coordinate and conduct offshore and onshore HSE & Compliance audits as per the approved Audit Plan.
• Track corrective actions and analyze trends to identify improvement areas and ensure HSE targets are met.
• Report unusual offshore occurrences per MoE / MoEP guidelines and prepeare follow-up documentation.
• Support the implementation of Energean Israel’s HSE Management System and ensure it aligns with operational readiness requirements.
• Maintain the FPSO Report on Major Hazards (ROMH), Risk Assessments Register, and compliance documentation.
• Deliver HSE training and ensure lessons learned from audits and investigations are communicated to relevant stakeholders.
• Advise the OIM on safety issues amd improvement measures; participate in daily meetings and safety reviews.
• Conduct regular inspections and audits to verify compliance with Energean standards and local regulations.
• Monitor and report on FPSO compliance, incidents investigations, emergency drills and corrective actions.
• Collaborate closely with the Onshore HSE Lead, OIM and contractors to address deficiencies and strengthen safety culture.
Qualifications and Experience:
• Certified Israeli HSE officer (advantage)
• International Certificate/ Diploma in Occupational Safety, Health or Environment (advantage).
• Minimum 3 years' experience in HSE & Compliance within operational environments.
• Training in Incident Investigation.
• Familiarity with EU Offshore Safety Directive and International standards (advantage).
• Experience with HSE and Environmental Managemen Systems and audit processes.
