Summary:
The Operational Planning & Follow Up Lead supports the Asset Manager in the elaboration and implementation of operational plans aimed at achieving the corporate objectives defined in the Middle Term Plan (MTP).
They organise the planning, scheduling and control activities through the operational functions of Operations Italy, so that they can operate in an integrated manner for the achievement of company objectives.
They promote business analysis by monitoring production performance, activities and costs by applying methodologies typical of project and business control by developing business intelligence processes and tools.

 

Key Accountabilities:

  • Gather all the necessary elements for the formulation of budget proposals and revisions.
  • Rationalise individual work plans, highlighting conflicts and inconsistencies to be resolved by activity owners.
  • Follow the approval cycle of AFEs and their subsequent planning in accordance with assigned responsibilities.
  • Monitor the progress of approved work plans for both O&M activities and individual projects being executed within the Operations perimeter.
  • Monitor the progress of approved budgets.
  • Follow the implementation of tendering & contracting cycles related to approved work plans.
  • Monitor production plans and check their progress.
  • Monitor operational KPI by identifying critical issues and areas for improvement.
  • Develop aggregate analyses of production, cost and work progress to measure performance levels.
  • Organise effective and useful reporting across the Operations perimeter.

 

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Bachelor's degree in management engineering.
  • 3 years' experience in the role.
  • Excellent knowledge of the office package, especially Excel.
  • Knowledge of Business Control, Project Management and Project Control criteria.
  • Basics towards data visualisation and business intelligence.
  • Written and spoken English at a minimum B2 level.
